Dr. Andrew Belonogov, the Founder of TechAccountingPro, a
licensed CPA, fellow chartered accountant of ACCA, and Ph.D.
in Accounting and Statistics. He is the author of two books
on specialized accounting topics and maintains a blog about
technical accounting topics, with a strong emphasis on
blockchain accounting and related issues. Andrew is an
expert specializing in accounting guidance ambiguity.
He has over ten years of public accounting experience working with companies ranging from Fortune 500 to pre-seed stage startups. Andrew started his career at Big-4 (KPMG) and was one of the pioneers in implementing the new revenue accounting standard in the U.S. He was invited to conduct ASC 606 training at KPMG. He worked extensively with the National Office of the firm and wrote dozens of technical accounting whitepapers. Dr. Belonogov has successfully led methodological development/consulted development teams of 3 accounting software projects and is now progressing the research of machine learning and artificial intelligence applications in accounting research.
